KAFFNY promotes the efforts of Korean and Korean American filmmakers through our one-day film festival and our online screenings. Founded in 2007, KAFFNY has featured work by filmmakers such as Juwan Chung (”Baby”), Benson Lee (”Planet B-Boy”), and Gene Rhee (”The Trouble with Romance”).

Peter is co-founder and principal at Barrel (www.barrelny.com), a web design studio in New York. He studied film at Columbia University.

Susie Lim is a filmmaker/artist from New York City. Her first film “Unravel” was shown at the 2007 Asian American Film Festival and her most recent video work is exhibiting at the Nam June Paik Art Center in Korea. She has collaborated with theater director and artist Robert Wilson and is currently working and assisting on several film projects. She graduated from New York University and studied film/video in Paris. She has recently co-curated a series of short films by Korean American filmmakers with the Korean Cultural Service.
